The next chapter of The Honest Founder.
Read this.
About a year ago, I started this newsletter with a simple idea:
Share the things I learned building and selling a company. So I wrote stories, shared frameworks and my templates.
Tried to distill lessons that would have helped me years earlier.
But over the last months, I kept coming back to the same thought:
The thing that would have helped me most during my founder years was being around people going through the same things.
People who understood the pressure, the loneliness, the uncertainty and the excitement without needing the full backstory.
So I’ve decided to evolve The Honest Founder.
Instead of focusing primarily on more content, I’m adding something I believe is even more valuable: Community.
A private space (hosted on Slack) for founders, CEOs and operators who want honest conversations and meaningful connections with people building real things.
Inside the community you’ll be able to:
Introduce yourself and what you’re building
Ask any questions
Pressure-test decisions with experienced peers
Share wins and setbacks you wouldn’t post publicly
Meet people who understand the journey
Join occasional live sessions with me
This isn’t meant to become another giant public group with thousands of people posting links.
I want to build a smaller room where people actually show up.
Where people know each other. Where conversations go deeper than networking.
To protect that quality, I’m intentionally keeping it small.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve quietly invited a group of incredible founders. The group raised over $200m and created $50m ARR in total.
This is how you can join:
If you’re already a paid subscriber: You’re in automatically. As one of the early members, you’ll keep your current pricing forever and community access is included at no extra cost. I’ll send out invitations later today.
If you’re currently on the free plan: You can upgrade now. Just join via the link below.
Tuesday articles stay free. That won’t change.
Excited for what we build together.
